Our Impact

The following results were calculated based on agency records from a recent annual survey to reflect individual program impact in the community. Foster Grandparents and Dropout Prevention Programs Assist children with exceptional or special needs in improving physical, mental, emotional and social development thereby helping them to reach social, behavioral, developmental and educational goals.

Foster Grandparent Program

Senior Companion Program

Provides support for Broward County’s frail elderly and adults with disabilities, to provide companion services, assisting them to remain independent and safe in their own homes.

Relief for Caregivers

A volunteer provides companionship to a homebound elder, allowing caregivers the opportunity to take a much-needed break.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program

A nationwide volunteer program, RSVP invites adults age 55 and older to use their life experience and skills to mentor children, counsel non-profit organizations, assist at health clinics and volunteer at a variety of one-time community events.

RSVP/Executive Service Corps of Broward County

Volunteer consultants provide general business advice on how to manage and grow nonprofit business in today’s challenging environment.

  • 29 consultants ( Included in RSVP )
  • 31 consulting projects to Broward County Nonprofit Organizations
  • 1,608 hours

RSVP/Veteran Helping Veterans

Volunteer Veterans  mentor other Veterans (mentees) returning to civilian life. Also in conjunction  with the Broward County Clerk of Courts.
